My sterling has to be adjusted a lot but it plays way better than any of the music man models at the guitar center. They don’t know how to set up or take care of a guitar tho so idk what a proper majesty actually plays like.

To each their own. I love the fact that my 2013 American Standard Strat is essentially the same as a 1954 model. There is a reason they are better unchanged. (Consider the violin, which has remained basically the same since the 1600's. I have played, and owned, modern version of the Strat, and was only disappointed.) Stratocasters may not be for everyone, but are my favorite, and I think the best features are: The body shape/contours, the "what you play is what you get" tone of nice single cols pickups, the maple neck, the adjustability, and, yes, the iconic headstock, the design of which, though often imitated, has never been equaled. (By the way, the "round bit" at the end of the headstock is a nod to violin scrolls, which purportedly add to the sound.)

just bought the qx527 the neck with the slanted frets has better frets and the 7 string pick ups seem to be a little hotter as well i did also adjust the height of them to clean the sound out. over super happy with the build

Its sounds the best and its not even close. Ive had literally every 2x12. Custom ones too. I know this is just a way to justify your inadequacies to yourself but stop with the hyperbole.

I think gibson guitars, especially the LP, excluding the ES335, are extremely ugly.

My friend. Those are all pretty valid reasons. From my experience though, I have had around 50 gigs with all sorts of equipment. I have had only 3 or 4 shows where the sound quality was good. I realised that no matter what you use, you're going to sound shit, because the sound guys in the clubs don't know what they are doing. And honestly it doesn't really matter. People are not there for the music, they are there for the show. As long as they can hear everybody semi-clearly, the mics don't have feedback and their ears won't ring when they go home, most people don't care what you sound like. What is important is, as I said, the show you put on. You have to admit that having a giant drum set with a marshall stack on both sides looks much cooler than a small kit with a 2 2x12s. I would much rather find a bus to transport 4 big 4×12 cabinets and have a good show that sounds like shit than have 2 small 2×12 and still sound like shit. Big massive equipment adds to the stage presense and that's why it's important.

I absolutely love my Snow White Snakebyte. Now that you mention it, the action on it is pretty high. I fell in love with the guitar when I played it at my local shop and the action was so low playing it was so easy

Only thing i care about when looking at this guitar: How does it play, tuning stability, is the neck roasted to minimize it being effected by temp changes, does it have stainless steel frets to significantly slow down fret ware from lots of practicing, does it have 5 way selector switch and a volume and tone knob, that's it. Dont focus on tone too much on guitars with OEM pickups since i always replace them with my favorite player signature ones. Depending on the look of the guitar i also may select pickups with color that enhances the guitar looks. I know exactly what pickups to put on this guitar to make it looks even cooler. That stuff about guitar hangers is nonsensical to me since i view stuff like this as irrelevant. This as far as i am concern gets lumped in the common sense/personal taste category.

Ibanez just brought out the Pentatone Gate. One knob and a switch for very high noise. It has the 4 jack system with an in/out and an in/out to loop in the noise source. The price is $100.00 USD.

The Line 6 is jam packed with features but I had a lot of dropouts with it and it didn't sounds as good to me. The Shure was much more reliable.

It literally took me years to try and tune my guitar until I found this video. Just merely putting the battery under the tremolo system was enough to make it easy as pie to tune. After I released tremolo after removing the battery, there was no change to the tuning or increased string tension. Thank you so much Man Bun Metal Head!

One disclaimer. If 4x12 is stereo cab. You can use only 2 speakers to reduce laudnes. 1960 is 16Ohms mono or 2x8 Ohms stereo , just use one 8 Ohm output in the amp and one input I cab and switch to stereo. You will reduce laundnes to -3db which is a lot. You can add another switch and in stereo mode and use only one speaker and reduce launder for -6db which is 50% less in compare to 4x12 in the same amp settings, but still you are using huge cab with huge volume. The main issue is the size - total volume of the cab. 2x12 is small and for some amps ( like JCM800, silver Jubilee, Plexi for example or many other "middle range focused amps) it makes it sound narrow in compare to 4x12, because of the volume of the cab. Also 4x12 cabs because of the size, are mostly studio cabs because they sound better and because nobody cares about handling it. 2x12 used are mostly heavily abused during lots of gigs because they are easy to transport, and they are albo good enough for recording - that's why they keep value better. If you are looking for used cab, finding a good shape 4x12 , good cab like 1960, very cheap is far better option then paying much more for for example 2 x12 Mesa after years of heavy abuse on stages.
